Pilot, Capt. Abdulkarim Na'Allah's son, found dead in his apartment in Kaduna.

Family sources said the deceased, who was the first son of Senator Bala Ibn Na’Allah, was found dead around 12pm. “He was alone in the house. The security guard of his neighbour found the gate strangely opened, so he raised the alarm,” said a family source who prefers not to be named. “There was no gunshot on his body. It was clear he was strangled as he was found tied with a rope.”

Nigerian Defence Academy Attacked by Bandits. One killed, Two abducted

August 24,2021 Bandits have invaded the Afaka barracks of the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), Kaduna, killing a naval officer. The bandits were also said to have also kidnapped two majors. Our correspondent gathered that the bandits who attacked the barracks around 1am on Tuesday are still be inside the academy. A reliable source within the barracks told our correspondent that security has been beefed up within and around the barracks to stop the bandits from escaping with the officers. “It was a terrible experience, the bandits took advantage of the time when most people had gone to bed to attack the barracks.” “Right now, the whole barracks is under lock and key and security has been beefed up so that the bandits cannot leave the barracks because it is believed that they are still within,” the source said.

Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association hand over Kidnappers to Taraba state Commissioner of police in Mararaban Kunini. They were presented during the formal inauguration of a 16-man committee set up to tackle criminal activities, especially kidnapping. The chairman of the Miyyetti Allah Cattle breeders Association in the state, Sahabi Tukur, said  this was done in response to pledge made before the Emir of Muri Alhaji Abbas Tafida, and state Commissioner of police that they will expose criminal elements among them. He said the committee members drawn from all the Fulani clans in the state would work along with police and other security agents in all the 16 local government areas  of the state to fish out kidnappers and other criminals. The police commissioner commended the Fulani for their resolve to address kidnapping and other crimes being perpetrated by bad eggs among them. Bali-Gembu Road Get a Boost as Gov. Ishaku ordered PW to resume work immediately.

20/8/21           Works Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku has ordered the contractor PW handling the 230 Klm Bali-Serti- Gembu road to resume work immediately. The Commissioner Ministry of Works Irmiya Hammanjulde stated this while speaking to with our correspondent in Bali. Hammanjulde said that the directive became necessary considering the enormous importance of the road to the people of the state as well as the construction of the gygantic hydro electrical power project located on the Mambilla Plateau. He said that though the  job which was awarded since 2013 by former Gov. Danbaba Suntai  had been suspended by the contractor who sought for a review of the project. BREAKING: IGP recommends immediate suspension of DCP Abba Kyari IGP Usman Alkali Baba, the Inspector-General of Police, has recommended that DCP Abba Kyari, the Head of the Police Intelligence Response Team (IRT), be suspended from the Nigeria Police Force pending the outcome of an ongoing internal investigation into him. Remember that DCP Abba Kyari was indicted by a US court in California last week for allegedly conspiring with Ramonu Abba, also known as Hushpuppi, in an internet fraud scheme worth over 1.1 million dollars. DCP Abba Kyari has since denied any involvement in the said case whose victim is a Qatari businessman.
