Kun fayakun

2 ) It appears at eight different places. If we consider these words separately, then the word “KUN” (only) has been appeared two times and the word “FAYAKUN” (only) has been used one time in Quran Majeed. Out of the eight aya, the phrase “KUN FAYAKUN” has been used at the end of aya in seven aya while in one aya (Sura Al-An’aam, Sura # 6, Aya # 73) it is used in almost the middle of the aya. You may see through the study of this phrase that it appears mostly in the context of creation. While speaking these words, it takes almost 1 second and if we speak the word “KUN” alone, it takes nearly 0.24 seconds. It would be interesting to know that average human blinking span is very close to this time that has been reported to be in the range of 0.1-0.4 seconds. ALLAH has used this phrase three times in the context of the Hazrat Isa (A.S.) [Jesus] i.e. in Surah Aal-i-Imran two times and one time in Surah Maryam , as follows; “He shall speak to the people in childhood and in maturity.

Threat of war by SOKAPU

THE FULANI MARAUDERS AND THE MARAUDERS OF SOUTHERN ZARIA....THE WAY OUT. It said that Fulanis originated from Misra, Egypt. They were living within the vicinity of the Mount Sinai (Thuri sinin) in the present day Egypt before their migration to different parts of the world in the pursuit of livelihood. From Egypt to Morocco to Senegal to Niger and Nigeria and other parts of the world. This is just one version of historical background of their origination and migration. There are other versions too. They are scattered across the African countries like Nigeria, Niger, Mali, Guinea, Chad, Cameroon and beyond. Some of them, like us, have since settled in towns and cities, abandoned their tradition of living in the bushes rearing their animals. They are now called Hausa/Fulani due to the long interaction and intermarriage with Hausas. Even before the advent of colonialists, Fulani were well organised and advanced with a civilised system of administration after the jihad of Sheikh Usmanu D

Section of constitution that were amended

If the recommendation of the Senate Committee on the review of the 1999 Constitution is accepted by the House of Representatives and assented to by President Muhammadu Buhari, the state joint local government account will be a thing of the past. The abolition of the state joint local government account is one of the highlights Deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, presented to the Senate Thursday. Ekweremadu also said that the Senate constitution committee adopted the recommendation to create a mayoral seat for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja. He noted that the committee, inaugurated on 13th January, 2016 had a clear mandate to reprocess the aspects of the Fourth Alteration Bill that had gained national consensus and enjoyed huge good-will from the general public, states, non-governmental organizations and international development organizations. On local government administration, Ekweremadu said that Section 7 of the Constitution was amended essentially to s

The unaired part of Aisha Buhari's BBC interview.

The Unaired Part of Mrs Buhari's Interview At the heat of the intense pressure mounted on the BBC to stop airing the remaining part of the controversial Aisha Buhari interview a few days ago, I had the privilege of listening to the interview before it was fully aired. My good friend, the Head of the Abuja bureau of the BBC, Naziru Mika'il Abubakar, invited me to his office for comment on the interview, and directed that it be played to me before recording my comment. Listening to the president's wife passionately expressing herself on how her husband runs Nigeria left me cringing. Reading between the lines, I realized Mrs. Buhari was sending SOS to Nigerians to save her bewitched, servile husband from the clutches of the Aso Rock witches, popularly known as "Aso cabal". The Buhari I knew before election was not the obtuse person we have today as president. The Buhari I promoted during campaign had no nepotic, despotic or robotic tendencies. The Buhari I voted

The assets are being seized following the failure of Senator Murray-Bruce and his brothers to settle an N11 billion loan owed Union Bank and acquired by AMCON. AMCON was established on July 9, 2010, as a key stabilizing and re-vitalizing tool for stabilising the nation’s financial system. Its enabling law empowers it to acquire non-performing loan assets of Nigerian banks at fair values and then put them to economic use in a profitable manner. Mr. Murray Bruce and his brothers, using their companies, had between 2005 and 2007 borrowed various sums of money from Union Bank. After they repeatedly defaulted in paying back, AMCON purchased the loan in 2011 to s

Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari has approved a whooping sum of 400bn Naira to settle the ongoing crisis over unpaid salaries. With several states crying out that they are in debt and some states not being able to settle salaries of over 7 months, the president has had to intervene to get the nation back on track. He today approved a relief package valued at over N400bn, which would then be distributed evenly between the states of the federation.
