REAKING: Nigeria Army releases Female Soldier, detained for locking lips with male youth corp

Private Hannah Sofiat Akinlabi, a female soldier detained after video clips of her being proposed to by a male corps member at the National Youth Service Corps orientation camp in Yikpata, Kwara State, went viral on social media has been released by the Nigerian Army. Spokesperson for the Nigerian Army, Brigadier General Onyema Nwachukwu, confirmed the development to our correspondent. He said, “I can confirm to you that an order has been made for the soldier to be freed and enjoy the Christmas with her family and friends with a serious warning for her not to repeat such act again.” Nigerian Media's   had earlier  reported that the female soldier was ordered to be detained by Captain MM Abdulahi, Kwara State NYSC Camp Commandant, at a military detention facility in Ilorin, the state capital, pending further investigations. Taraba State Governor Darius Ishaku on Tuesday met with President Muhammadu Buhari and said setting up permanent military bases along Taraba’s border with Cameroon is the only solution to incessant Ambazonia attacks on Nigerian civilians. Ambazonia militants, who are seeking to secede from Cameroon, regularly cross into communities in Taraba, inflicting huge casualties. Borno state Police command arrests soldier over illegal possession of ammunition.

NEWS December 7, 2021 The Borno State Police Command has arrested  a soldier, Lance Corporal Aliyu Isa who gave her lover a  bag containing live ammunition and was caught with live ammunition while boarding a car to Yola from Askira town, in the Askira Uba Local Government Area of Borno State. The 25-year-old claimed that she was given the ammunition by her military boyfriend, one Lance Corporal Aliyu Isa, to deliver to the driver of a commercial vehicle heading for Yola. She said, “I have been dating the soldier for one year and four months now. His name is Aliyu Isa, a Lance Corporal with the Nigerian Army, serving in Askira. He gave me the bag and instructed me to take it to a park in Uba and waybill it in a vehicle going to Yola. I arrived at the Una Motor Park around 5pm.
