Tarabans Must Embrace Peace – Governor Ishaku





The need for Christians and Muslims to coexist peacefully has again been brought to the fore.

Governor Darius Ishaku emphasized this when he paid a visit to officials of the Muslim Council at its Secretariat in Jalingo.

He revealed that no family in the State exists without Christians and Muslims among it’s kinfolk hence the need for tolerance among both faith.

The Governor requested for prayers from people of the State and pleaded with Tarabans to embrace peace during the electioneering period.

Governor Ishaku also solicited for their votes in order for him to continue the good work he has done.

Commenting, Acting Chairman of the Muslim Council, Khadi Mohammed Bose, thanked the Governor for his effort in sponsoring Muslims Pilgrims and his continuous support to the Chairman of the Council.

He pledged the commitment of the Muslim Council to praying for him to subdue all evil forces bent on distorting peace in the State.

On his part, Khadi Abdulmumini who quoted from the Holy quran enjoined all Tarabans to support and respect Governor Darius Ishaku.

Abdulmumini called on Governor Darius Ishaku to continue with his good work and carry everybody along in his administration.

The Deputy Governor, Haruna Manu, Senator Representing Taraba North, Shuaibu Isah Lau, Member Representing Karim Lamido, Lau and Ardo at the National Assembly, Danladi Baido, Vice Chairman PDP Northeast Zone, Gebon Kataps,Secretary to the State Government Anthony Jellason and other aides accompanied the Governor.
