Governor Ishaku urges Tarabans to live in peace, Gave nod to local government autonomy.

Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku has appealed to people of the State to coexist peacefully.

The Governor who was Speaking on his six years anniversary as Governor at the Government House Jalingo said peace remain critical to any meaningful development.

He regretted the spat of killings that took place when he assumed duty expressing confidence that peace would be sustained in the State.

Reeling,his achievements in various Sectors,Governor Darius Ishaku said he was able to revamp many moribund companies like the Kakara High land tea,Taraba Oil and was able to turn around the Agric sector.

Other Sectors that the Governor enumerated that he has made land mark achievements include the water sector,Youth employment and empowerment,Education and others.

The Governor who was visibly happy with the operations of the Danbaba Suntai Airport stated that  it has open the State to the global community.

The Governor expressed worries over ghost workers syndrome stating that his administration is working hard to block leakages in the system.

Governor Darius Ishaku assured people of the State of his readiness to keep initiating viable programs that can impact positively on the lives of the Citizens.

He gave his nod for Judicial and Local Government Staff autonomy emphasizing that Government and the various Unions must come to terms to make the whole process a realistic one.

The Governor expressed dissatisfaction on the collection of internally generated revenue as much is needed to be done.

He identified poor allocation  from the Federation Account and Covid Nineteen as factors that has hampered the progress of some contracts.  

Governor Darius Ishaku assured people of the State of Completing all ongoing projects before the end of his tenure.
