Breaking:  Police killed young man in Jalingo Over minor misunderstanding.

A  young man Oliver Ezra has been shot dead by a suspected to be police officer. Mr. Oliver is believed to have been brutally killed from a gunfire at a checkpoint in Jalingo, the capital of Taraba State. The deceased was a Personal Assistant to the Executive Chairman of Lau Local Government Area in Taraba State. A picture of Oliver Ezra who is a son of late Pastor Ezra has gone viral on social media with a hashtag #Justice4Oliver #PoliceBrutality 

Sympathisers are calling on the  Taraba State Police Commissioner to immediately ensure all involved in these act are arrested immediately and prosecuted.

Grid collapse: Restoration in advance stage- TCN

The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has said that the national grid restoration nationwide was in progress and has reached advanced stages. This, it said, has now led to power supply in the West, North-Central, South, East, and a large portion of the Northern parts of the country on Thursday afternoon. Statement signed by the TCN General Manager, Public Affairs, Ndidi Mbah, said the power supply restoration was sequel to the earlier total grid collapse, which occurred at about 12.35am on Thursday, causing outage nationwide, after over 421 days of consistent grid stability. “In the course of the grid restoration, the process initially suffered a setback; this does not amount to another collapse.
