Hon. Sadiq Abbas Tafida Honoured by University Of Madinah Alumni in Taraba State.

The Taraba State Students and Alumni Association of the University of Madinah has honoured Hon. Sadiq Abbas Tafida, Member representing Jalingo, Yorro, and Zing Federal Constituency, for his exceptional support and dedication to education in the state.

The recognition comes in light of his instrumental role in the successful organization of a recent intensive course (Daurah) held in Jalingo, the Taraba State capital.

 The Daurah served as a platform for deepening knowledge and promoting spiritual development among youth and scholars.

According to the association, Hon. Tafida’s contributions—both in logistical coordination and community mobilization—were key to the success of the event. They praised him for his steadfast commitment to initiatives that foster education, enlightenment, and religious harmony in Taraba.

Speaking on behalf of the group, a representative of the alumni association Dr Salisu Ishaq described Hon. Tafida as “a visionary leader who understands the value of faith-based education and its impact on social development.”

In his response, Hon. Tafida who was represented by his personal assistant Alhaji Shameel Isah thanked the association for the honour and reaffirmed his commitment to advancing both formal and religious education in Taraba State. He noted that the development of human capital remains a top priority in his legislative and community engagement efforts.

The recognition is one among many the lawmaker has received for his people-focused leadership, further cementing his reputation as a champion of youth development and societal progress.
