The executive Governor of Taraba State Darius Dickson Ishaku has presented the budget of over one hundred and thirty nine billion naira for twenty twenty one fiscal year. 

Presenting the budget which is an annual ritual that usher in the next fiscal year was tagged budget of restoration and stabilization. 

Darius Dickson Ishaku said the twenty twenty one budget is guided by some microeconomic variables which includes international oil price benchmark of forty dollar per barrel, inflation rate of eleven point nine five percent and GDP growth of three percent among others. 

He said in the twenty twenty one proposed budget the government budgeted the sum of over one hundred and sixty eight billion lower than the twenty twenty approved budget. 

Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku said it also represents a decrease of over seven billion lower than the twenty twenty approved amended budget.

He said the proposed budget of over one hundred and thirty nine billion comprises an opening balance of over three billion representing two point fifty one internally generated revenue of over eight billion,federal statutory revenue of over fifty billion naira among others.

He said the total expenditure stands at over eighty two billion naira representing fifty nine point forty five percent made up of personnel cost,overhead cost and consolidated revenue fund charges. 

Darius Dickson Ishaku charged various ministries boards and parastatals to ensure discipline in order to curtail expenditure and enhance the revenue bass in twenty twenty one. 

He said close monitoring of capital projects will be strictly adhere to ensure released of funds to contractors.

Further he said various ministries,department and Agency to strong patronized government printing press for its activities.
