Taraba power commissioner, entourage escaped death by whiskers

The Commissioner of  Power Badina Garba and his team on Hydro Electric Dam project exercise have narrowly escaped death following a heavy attacked by unknown gunmen suspected to be a kidnappers.

The attacked occurred around nine PM in the night in Jatau Village along Balli Takum road as the team  set to reach Kurmi Local government for assignment.

Our reporter Amos Joshua Karim who was among the victims of attacked reports that the gunmen who disguised themselves barricaded the road with wood and a vehicle then opened heavy fire on the Entourage with attempt to get away with them were intensely countered by the security men among them.

However, despite exchange of fire between the security and the men of underworld no any case of death recorded accept two security personnel sustained injuries on knees while Rowling on ground.

Badina Garba and his team left Sardauna Local government Area after presented Surveyors to the host Community where the project will be cited before encountered such incident.

Speaking to the newsman after the incidence in Balli local government area, the commissioner attributed the success on the attackers  to the work of God.

Badina Garba appealed for the assistance of more security personnel to aid protection of lives during project exercise.

It is glaring and known fact that Balli Takum road has become dangerous road following hight activities of the men of underworld.
