Taraba truth and fact newspaper has lied

The senior special assistant to executive governor of taraba state, Mr Bala danhabu has said that taraba truth and fact newspaper has goofed in its social media edition of the online newspaper.of today in which the Paper claims that governor Darius Dickson ishaku signed the 2020 appropriation bill in hospital bed.

Mr danhabu said the story is false and is part of the extensive plot by the publishers and  their sponsor's to tarnished the image of governor Darius Dickson ishaku.

He said, at the time of writing this rejoinder the budget has not been signed, therefore the story is one of the chain of several stories which the paper has line up as part of it ploy to twist the truth about ishaku's administration and bring it to ridicule.

He therefore advised the public to disregard taraba truth and fact newspaper because it's incapable of telling the truth and stating the facts on any matter dispassionately.

Meanwhile,the permanent secretary, bureau for local government and chieftaincy affairs. Alhaji Bello Yero has reject the award conferred on him by taraba truth and fact newspaper.

In a statement issued today, the permanent secretary condemned the activities of the Paper and said, I came across a paper whose publishers are unknown gave me an unknown award as the best public servant of 2019., while I believed that I have done my best as a civil servant and diligently carrying out my responsibilities as the permanent secretary bureau for local government and chieftaincy affairs, I don't need an award from a ghost.

He called on all tarabins to disregard the Paper which he said is distructive and instigative channel which is out to disrupt the relative peace we enjoyed in taraba state.

He urged all Tarabans to give architect Darius Dickson ishaku necessary support and cooperation to move taraba state to greater heights.

Grid collapse: Restoration in advance stage- TCN

The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has said that the national grid restoration nationwide was in progress and has reached advanced stages. This, it said, has now led to power supply in the West, North-Central, South, East, and a large portion of the Northern parts of the country on Thursday afternoon. Statement signed by the TCN General Manager, Public Affairs, Ndidi Mbah, said the power supply restoration was sequel to the earlier total grid collapse, which occurred at about 12.35am on Thursday, causing outage nationwide, after over 421 days of consistent grid stability. “In the course of the grid restoration, the process initially suffered a setback; this does not amount to another collapse.
