A grassroot mobilizer and senior special assistant to governor Darius Dickson ishaku, Alhaji ismaila yusha'u Maihanci has condemned with strong terms the action of some youth in taraba state in the aftermath of end Sara protest.

He stated this during a telephone interview with our reporter.

Maihanci said, the Invasion, destruction and looting of government and private individuals properties is a pure criminal act and stand to be condemned by any sensible person.

He commended the swift action of governor Darius Dickson ishaku, religious leaders and traditional rulers in curtailing the looting spree in time and urged the looters of the properties to return them.

Maihanci, sympathize with persons whose properties were looted and call on youths to key into development strides of governor Darius Dickson ishaku'to be self reliant and respect the rule of law and constitutional authorities for peace to reign in taraba state.

The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has said that the national grid restoration nationwide was in progress and has reached advanced stages. This, it said, has now led to power supply in the West, North-Central, South, East, and a large portion of the Northern parts of the country on Thursday afternoon. Statement signed by the TCN General Manager, Public Affairs, Ndidi Mbah, said the power supply restoration was sequel to the earlier total grid collapse, which occurred at about 12.35am on Thursday, causing outage nationwide, after over 421 days of consistent grid stability. “In the course of the grid restoration, the process initially suffered a setback; this does not amount to another collapse.
